As Croatia’s credit rating keeps plummeting, I am starting to worry about my own pocket. What will the government do to increase its drooping income? That is, what new taxes will I face sooner or later? For there is no doubt whatsoever that the Croatian government is up shit creek. And so are the hapless citizens of the bankrupt country. Just like many of them, I cannot stop thinking about abandoning the ship. And soon. Indeed, it is only a question of time when we will all be adrift.
