NEARLY AMBIDEXTROUS (November 10, 2015)

I like to think of myself as nearly ambidextrous, but it is enough to see me twirling two pairs of chi-gong balls in my two hands to realize I am far from the ideal, as it were. Sitting in my beloved’s apartment, I am twirling wooden balls in the palm of my right hand and jade balls in the palm of my left. The wooden balls are considerably bigger than the jade ones, but I still twirl them considerably faster. And when I put the wooden balls in the palm of my left hand, I twirl them considerably slower than the jade ones. To be sure of all of the above, I just measured the chi-gong balls. The wooden ones are seven centimeters in diameter while the diameter of the jade ones is only five centimeters. The difference is a bit less than thirty percent. And this seems to be the difference in the speed with which I twirl the two pairs of balls. To my disappointment, this would make me about seventy percent ambidextrous, if such a designation makes any sense. Nearly ambidextrous, my ass.
