Several hunting blinds on the Brkač hill are visible from my terrace. Propped up on stilts, they were built only a few years ago. Apparently, hunting is one of the favorite pastimes around Motovun. This morning I saw a car parked in front of one of the hunting blinds. I could not believe my eyes. I even went for my binoculars to make sure my vision was serving me right. It was a Renault Four, of all cars. For crying out loud, hunters are not what they used to be. Neither are the wild animals, as cars are a part of their lives nowadays. All in all, a car parked just under a hunting blind is perfectly fine to all concerned.
