I am looking forward to the coming Tuesday. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney are getting on my nerves already. Today I would support even Donald Duck for president.

Addendum (May 5, 2017)

As it turns out, I was right on the money about the American president of the not-so-distant future. Only five years after this haiku was penned, the Donald is in power already. And no kidding. Walt Disney would have loved him for his mischievous and temperamental personality, as well as his jumbled speech. A cartoon character through and through, the Donald is sure to be remembered around the globe for quite some time. And all that Disney would need to do with one of his favorite characters is to replace the old sailor cap with a flamboyant hairdo. Easy-peasy. Everything else is nothing if not perfect…
