Quite unexpectedly, it started raining yesterday evening, and I expected another gray day today. But the bora cleared the sky during the night. Quite thoroughly, too. It is a bit colder today than it was yesterday, but the day is simply delightful. The sky is limpid. The air sparkles in the sunlight. The view is superb. The changing colors of the vegetation around Motovun complete the amazing picture. The yellows, the oranges, the reds. Thus I felt almost happy when I saw a busload of Austrian or German tourists pouring into the lower square. Coming out of season, they got really lucky. At least this beauty will not be wasted on a few remaining souls in the hilltown. Including the disgruntled old me.
