A PERFECT DAY (September 7, 2012)
It was obvious from the early morning that this would be a perfect day. As soon as I became aware of it, I started planning what I should do. I should spend the bulk of the day on my terrace, I decided. While there, I should gaze at the Mirna valley bathing in crisp sunshine. In addition, I should sunbathe my hot sauce while reclining in peace and quiet. Ever so eager to enjoy a perfect day, I dashed back and forth for a few hours. And I achieved everything I had planned through the early afternoon. In fact, I was pretty successful at it, too. Except that I missed a good chunk of the day. Luckily, this I figured out early enough, for it is early afternoon still. And the best thing to do on a perfect day like this one is to stop doing anything at all, let alone planning what to do. Phew!
