A MOST HUMBLE FELLOW (May 3, 2012)

As I am sipping my drink in one of my favorite watering holes, I am suddenly surrounded by many enthusiastic people. Most of them are in their twenties and thirties. I am not sure what it is that has brought them together, but it is obvious that they have a common goal. And an important one, at least in their own minds. The way they are talking to each other also suggests that they are both collaborating and competing with each other. The old pecking order is obvious enough. Feeling overpowered by their enthusiasm, as well as dismayed by their eagerness to impress each other, I discretely slip away. After all, enlightenment is my one and only goal. I am a most humble fellow.
