A trailer for Lars von Trier’s “Nymphomaniac” pops up on the television screen in one of my favorite cafés over and over again. Although I avert my eyes as quickly as I can whenever I spot it, I must have seen bits and pieces of it hundreds of times. But all the trailer does for me is that it keeps strengthening my resolution not to see any other movie by von Trier ever again. The resolution was forged four years ago, when I saw his “Antichrist.” Yuck. Thanks for the trailer, old chap!
