THE REMEDY (January 21, 2014)
My beloved and I are still waving goodbye to each other when it crosses my mind that we will see each other again in some twelve hours. Half a day. What is more, she will be even busier the next month or so. There will be days when half a day’s separation will seem like a godsend. At first I panic, but then I turn to the only remedy I know: yoga. The remedy. And I almost sigh at the thought of sitting crosslegged in my beloved’s apartment and meditating. Or just staring in front of myself without a thought in my mind. Thinking of yoga, I slow down a bit. My step becomes even and gentle. The remedy is working its wonders already.
