It is hot and steamy, but there is many a threatening cloud in the sky. Which is why Motovun is overtaken by tourists. Unsure of the weather, they are visiting every spot inside Istria suggested by their guides. Most of them are trudging along without complaint, but their kids show exactly how they feel. Judging by their drooping faces, all of them are bored to death while some of them are outright annoyed. The hilltown has nothing to offer to them except endless traipsing up and down the cobblestone streets. The only way to appease them is to feed them, and this is what their parents gladly do. Icecream is the best trick around, or so it seems. For a while, the kids are kind of happy. Once the bored and annoyed faces show up again, the only option is a quick pizza. Judging by their drooping bellies, there are few tricks that make kids happy for any length of time. And so they are dragged by their parents to yet another spot worth visiting on the peninsula. Who knows whether icecream and pizzas can be found over there, though?
