As the wind is getting stronger, whistling and howling ever more menacingly, I keep jacking up the volume on my music system—the mighty Bose Acoustic Wave. The popular music from Mali is getting louder and louder. Soon enough I will be safe from bombing attacks, as well. And so will my neighbors.
