SUNDRY AFTERTHOUGHTS (October 12, 2015)

No fewer than four selections from my Residua are awaiting a publisher at this time. Cave Art Now was completed in Reading in 2003, but its last section, entitled “Sundry Afterthoughts,” keeps growing to this day. Dying to Go to Strasbourg was completed earlier this year, and it still awaits a sequel concerning the ultimate decision of the European Court of Human Rights, which I expect sometime next year. Catching Up with Issa will keep growing till my last day. Thus, my collection of haiku with one-hundred and sixty characters, including spaces, may end up having several editions, but the first edition is already ready for printing. And Who Is Yoga? will be completed next year. Although it will eventually also have a section entitled “Sundry Afterthoughts,” it will not be changing in substance afterwards. In addition to my four remaining books, a complete edition of my Residua is yet another opportunity for a valiant publisher, it goes without saying. And that is that. Finding one or more publishers is my only remaining task. That accomplished, which is a colossal assumption to make, the rest of my life will be crowned with sundry afterthoughts galore.

Addendum I (October 19, 2015)

By now, my last published book, What Is to Be Done? (Belgrade: HESPERIAedu, 2014), is bursting with a section entitled “Sundry Afterthoughts,” as well. It was completed last August, after all. The second edition, if it ever sees the light of day, will be much richer. Just like the other books of mine minus Catching Up with Issa, it will come to completion early next year. The Paris climate talks this December will mark its substantial end. All in all, my small library of five selections from the Residua is nearing completion. It will be as good as finished in several months. Sundry afterthoughts beckon ever more enticingly…

Addendum II (April 4, 2016)

Well, things have changed. Not a single selection from my Residua is awaiting a publisher at this time. By now, I am my one and only publisher (“My Own Publisher, Again and Again,” February 8, 2016). And I have no less than ten selections to my name at this point in time (“Ten Selections from My Residua,” December 18, 2015). At the moment, only one of them is still with another publisher, but I am doing my best to get my rights back. I have recently contacted the owner of HESPERIAedu in Belgrade, and I hope to offer it for free within a week or two. The remaining nine selections are already available in Portable Document Format at my Ca’ Bon Gallery website (www.cabongallery.org). And for free. By and by, their “Sundry Afterthoughts” sections are getting heftier and heftier. The bliss.

Addendum III (December 7, 2016)

Having already gotten my rights back from my last Belgrade publisher, I am in full control of all the selections available on my Ca’ Bon Gallery website. At the moment, there are ten of them, but there will be a few more in the future. I will remain my own publisher till my last breath, though. This is my firm and final decision on this score. Fully in control of my Residua and all the selections from it, I can make sure that everything I have ever written is available to everyone who has access to the World Wide Web, and for free. As for my sundry afterthoughts, they will keep piling up from year to year till my last breath. To my joy, I can update everything on offer without any fuss, as well as without any interference from anyone else. Alleluia!
