After many a splendid day, pigeons are starting to mate. Out of season? The way climate is changing, that is anyone’s guess. I am squarely with pigeons, though.

Addendum (January 4, 2017)

A couple of years after this haiku was penned, pigeons in Zagreb are starting to mate once again. Although there was a little bit of snow last night, it has been sunny most of the day. Not surprisingly, it is rather warm, as well. One more time, I am squarely with the clever birds. Chances are that this winter is on its hind legs already. I can only hope that the meteorologists will catch up with pigeons in a few short years. After all, all it takes is a leisurely walk through the center of the Croatian capital.
