NO LEGS (January 17, 2015)
As I am walking through the center of Zagreb, I spot a woman in her late twenties or early thirties walking in my direction with a dog on a tight leash. When I come closer, I glance at the dog, which strikes me as rather fat. And then I panic, for the dog has no legs! It takes me a few second to realize that the woman is carrying a big, round handbag with thin, long straps. No legs, to be sure.
