HER KNOWLEDGE OF MY MIND (January 18, 2015)

I woke up before my beloved this morning. When she woke up, she looked straight into my eyes. “Hey,” she chuckled, “you are concocting a piece about disaster management!” Taken aback, I smiled at her. “You’re right,” I mumbled after a brief pause. Indeed, I was thinking about yet another piece involving ten principles, one of my favorite formats, which will take me another day or two to put together to my satisfaction. Her knowledge of my mind is simply stunning, I must admit. “But don’t worry,” she chuckled again, “there’ll be no need for disaster management!” Alas, this is where we disagree. She is quite convinced I am barking up a wrong tree. What is more, my beloved finds my continual barking rather annoying.
