My beloved took me this morning to several stores selling cosmetics in Zagreb. I was stunned by them all. Even though it would not be difficult for me to imagine such a store from the inside, visiting several of them in an hour or so was still an experience to remember. And be impressed with. The waste! The vanity! The stupidity, minus the stupendous profit it fetches! As well as yet another dent in my estimation of women, which has been battered over the years. There is some way to go yet, though. But women will oblige, I am quite sure already. It is in their very nature, as it were. Out of the goodness of my heart, I will give them a few more years. Come on, women!
