THE GLITCH (September 27, 2012)

The good weather is holding on and on. And on. It is wonderful while it lasts, and few people are complaining, but it is also a bit puzzling. Actually, worrying. How long can the good weather last? And what are we to expect in its wake? Indeed, that is the only trouble with the weather at this point in time. It is too good to feel good about it. But it is time to get used to it, the glitch. It will become a permanent feature of the weather sooner or later. Seasons will matter ever less, and they will eventually be forgotten. Spring, what spring? And so will all manner of expectations concerning the weather. Glitches like the one we are going through right now will become a way of life.
