The day is gorgeous. There are some clouds high in the sky, but it is sunny and warm. There is a fly in the ointment, though. According to the weather forecasts, there will be plenty of rain tomorrow, and the temperature is expected to drop by quite a few degrees. As it happens, the fall is likely to start on the equinox, or very close to it. A mere coincidence, but a reassuring one. A fallback to olden times, as it were. Now that climate change is hardly in question any longer, the coincidence is still quite a joy. Perhaps it will take a while for the worst to come. Would that there were more coincidences just like it. Anyhow, the summer is already a memory even though the sun is a bit too much to bear as I write. Weather forecasts be damned.
