ON THE GROWING INCIDENCE OF BALDNESS AMONG YOUNG MEN (January 31, 2012)

I have a feeling that many more young men are bald than was the case when I was their age. Even in their early or mid-twenties, they are rapidly losing their hair. Some of these youngsters I know for a couple of years already, and I am often caught by surprise when I see them after a pause of only a few months. Am I deluded? Is this just another instance of poor recollection of times past? Or am I onto something, after all? All sorts of hormones in food immediately come to my mind. Thus I just caught myself thinking that I could check the whole thing on the World Wide Web. There must be something on the subject already. I even started thinking about the most promising search words and expressions. I stopped myself quickly enough, though. Do I really care about the growing incidence of baldness among young men? As a matter of fact, I could not care less. The only question is how to stop this silly mind of mine from mulling over all sorts of irrelevant things. And baldness is the least of its many problems.
