It is raining in spurts. The sun shines through the clouds every now and then. Some of the spurts are nigh torrential, but most of the people walking around central Zagreb are perfectly happy without umbrellas. Not even those who have them actually use them all the time. It is so warm that the rain feels just right on one’s skin. How do I know? I am one of those getting drenched from time to time. And I am walking around in hope of another torrential spurt. Rain, what rain? It is high summer, for crying out loud!
