FUTURIST, PROPHET (November 21, 2012)
To my credit, I am not partial to any race or religion. Indeed, I am annoyed by all humans alike. But I am still partial in my annoyance, I am realizing only today. In particular, I am annoyed more by the women than by the men. Also, I am annoyed more by the young than by the old. In short, I am annoyed most by the young women and least by the old men regardless of their race or religion. Peculiar, this proclivity of mine. At first glance, I am leaning toward olden times, when the world was arranged according to different principles than those that pertain today. I seem to be turning conservative in my dotage, that is. But there is another reading to my annoyance. In fact, I am leaning toward ruthless times that are yet to come. And the degree of my annoyance only points at the changes to expect in the coming years. The old men will suffer least and the young women will suffer most. Yes, I am a futurist, if not also a prophet. Being an old man already, perhaps I am also becoming ever so slightly impatient.
