I dreamt of Chuck Norris jokes, which kept coming at me even between dreams. By the morning I remembered only one of them, though: “Chuck Norris recognized no law. That was the law.” When I woke up, I remembered a joke saying that he once threw a house out of the window. This is the sort of law I had in mind in my dream, as well. It stretched well beyond the law as a social discipline and ventured into the natural sciences. Anyhow, Chuck Norris’ law sounded much better in my dream.
