A NO-BULLSHIT BOOK (December 16, 2012)
This morning I went out to buy a book. All I knew was that I wanted a no-bullshit book. It was not to be a religious text, though. For example, Patanjali’s book would fit the bill. And I found exactly what I was looking for in very little time: a paperback copy of Upanishads.[1] As soon as I opened it, I lit upon a sentence entirely to my liking: “One should venerate speech as a cow.”[2] Of course, I take “speech” to mean “narrative” or “text,” as well. There, a no-bullshit book for all to see.
