VUGRINEC ET ALII (November 25, 2011)

According to Google Analytics, “Slobodan Vugrinec” is quite a popular search phrase on my Residua website over the last month. Besides, searches come from different visitors. Currently there are as many searches as visitors, as well. As I have already written about these searches, they are hardly surprising (“Snooping the Snoops,” July 16, 2011). Their persistence perhaps is, though. The mayor of Motovun, his political affiliates, his business partners, and his lawyers know perfectly well that their case is lost. Both on the ground and in court, albeit in Strasbourg, they are liable to lose everything they dreamt about. But why do they persist snooping on me? What do they expect to learn by reading my writings? Come to think of it, they might worry that I know more than I let be known, at least in public. Or they might hope that I am only bluffing, and in plain view. They are trying to read between the lines, that is. Good luck, Vugrinec et alii. As for me, I will start worrying when they stop searching my site.
