Thus the stark message that appeared on my computer screen as I was moving from one page to another on my Residua website yesterday evening. It was a few minutes before eleven o’clock. Concerned about the awkward timing, for it was Christmas Eve, I immediately sent an electronic mail message to Paul Bazay, who administers the site in Calgary, Canada, which is some seven hours behind Motovun. I hoped to catch him before the holiday lull. No response from him yet, though. And the same message pops up whenever I try to access my site. Whatever the problem happens to be, the timing cannot be worse. Chances are that Paul will not look into the problem either today or tomorrow, Christmas or Boxing Day. My site will be dead as a doornail for days. As far as I am concerned, this is the very pits. There are few things I can imagine ever happening that would qualify in my mind as more dreadful than what is happening to me right now. Merry Christmas, Ranko Bon!
