We were looking forward to the peace and quiet in Motovun, but we are still surprised by the peace and quiet we have actually found here. It is pretty close to complete and total. This morning we could not find a single place where we could have a cup of coffee. There is no-one is sight, either. And it is only Christmas Eve! In terms of peace and quiet, Motovun is a perfect place, indeed. If there is any place that could be considered superior to the hilltown in these particular terms, it must be a cemetery.
