It is full moon tonight. After a brief but heavy shower this afternoon, the Mirna valley is covered by dense fog. Looking west from the terrace of my house, the fog was bluish while the moon was still behind the Motovun hill. Now it just above it, and the fog is pinkish in the moonlight. The colors are quite distinct, but they can be captured only in words. No camera can do them justice. This is one of those wondrous situations when a word, even a hazy one, is worth a thousand pictures.
