PHYSICAL EXERCISE (November 10, 2010)

Dust does not faze me. Cobwebs, clumps of hair, and dead insects do not faze me, either. Which is why my house is rather grubby most of the time. Except when my beloved is coming, that is. She is far away, though, and she will not be back for another week or so. Looking at all the muck around me, this afternoon I asked myself a straightforward question: is there anything in this world, except my beloved, that could make me clean all this crap? At first I drew a blank, but then I remembered something that might do the trick: physical exercise. And so I took off my fleece, dashed to the pantry, grabbed a little brush and a dustpan, and started. Bent over, my legs spread wide open, I collected all the dust, cobwebs, clumps of hair, and dead insects in sight. It did not take me much time, either. The sweat on my back only added to my feeling of accomplishment. Anyhow, it is physical exercise that can get me going. And how.
