SIX YEARS AND COUNTING (July 19, 2014)

As of a few days ago, I am spending most of my time compiling the record of my citata. So far, I have reached back to 2000, when only one citatum appeared. It is a painstaking job, and it takes an enormous amount of concentration. The screen of the desktop computer in my study is now etched into my mind. But the travail is not the only problem with the task. Much more important, my citata bring me back to all the pain of recent years. My struggle with crooked golf in Motovun, Istria, and Croatia comes first, but it is followed by so many years wasted on the three politically-motivated court cases lodged against me by the then mayor of Motovun. What is worse, the misery is not over yet, and many a citatum has to do with my struggle with the slothful Croatian judiciary, the ultimate shield of the corrupt Croatian government. God knows how many more citata will be devoted to the horror into which I was pushed by Slobodan Vugrinec, the ex-mayor. Six years and counting. Hard to believe but true.
