Funny. I have just had a wonderful conversation with a friend, but I am still overwhelmed by the feeling that the human race has no future. None whatsoever. How in the world could I ever be sure of such a thing? I do not know, but I am as sure as sure can be. Humans are done for. No matter what we do in the future, we are as good as lost. How about me, though? You are lucky to be as old as you are, the answer goes. Rejoice! And that is all that comes my way. Everything else is a blur. Funny, indeed.
