GOOGLING UKRAINE (April 24, 2014)

I cannot focus on anything today. Whatever I am doing, my mind is elsewhere. And I keep googling Ukraine ever since I got out of bed. I do not read anything that is more than an hour old, though. It is a question of minutes now. I want the newest of news and from the best of sources available on the World Wide Web. When will the Ukrainian military clash with the pro-Russian separatists? How many dead will there be? When will the Russian military cross the Ukrainian border in support of the separatists? It is only a question of minutes, of course. And so I keep googling Ukraine against my better judgment, as though being well informed has anything to do with influencing the course of events. But scolding myself is utterly useless in this mess. The urge to check the news in impossible to curb, let alone to sidetrack. At any rate, this piece about my predicament is taking a bit too much of my time, I reckon. It is high time to google Ukraine once again. Wasting precious time will not do any longer.
