“US MEN WANTED OVER BABY BODY PARTS FOUND IN THAILAND” (November 17, 2014)

Thus The Guardian today. “Parcels containing infant body parts in plastic containers filled with formaldehyde were bound for Las Vegas,” elaborates the newspaper. A baby’s head, foot, and heart were found by the Thai police. For good measure, the packages were marked “children’s toys.” Both American suspects, aged thirty-one and thirty-three, had fled Thailand already. One hypothesis by the police is that baby body parts have been intended for a black-magic ritual. And that is all the article has to offer. But I still find it quite enlightening. There will be children’s toys galore in the years to come. As this civilization nears its inglorious end, its denizens will let it rip. No trick will be spared. And black-magic will come forth with all the frills accumulated over millennia. Which is the only reason for looking into this article. How far will my fellow humans venture when the going gets tough? What deplorable heights will they reach? And how will they conceptualize their quest for glory? Good questions, these.
