JUST LIKE A BEAR (October 22, 2009)
Ever since the weather has shifted from summer to winter, and it took it only a few days to skip the fall, I sleep like a bear. I go to bed before midnight, and I wake up not long before noon. More often than not, I get up to pee around dawn, but sometimes I skip peeing altogether. And I love it. I cannot wait to go to sleep in the evening. And dream, dream, dream. Although I cannot remember any of my dreams as of late, I certainly enjoy them very much. Actually, I relish them with growing passion. Thus I felt kind of miffed when I woke up this dark and dank morning. I could have slept for another few hours, I grumbled. Or for another few days, if not for a few more dark and dank months. It would be wonderful to wake up again when the weather shifts back to normal, so to speak. As if the winter were an annoying illness that is best weathered curled up in bed. Just like a bear, I am wishing the winter away.
