Addendum (February 2, 2009)

Sadly, a moment of weakness it definitely was. In the end, France came on top, and by a respectable margin. Although there will be much talk the next few days about the referees’ rôle in the final score, the victory was surely deserved. There is no doubt about it in my own mind, at least. To my credit, I admitted my moment of weakness hours in advance! Fuck Croatia, too.
