TRAINED VOICES (July 14, 2008)

Enthralled by the acoustics of the upper square, a couple of tourists with trained voices let themselves go for a moment. Suddenly awoken out of its slumber, the square responds in kind. And how. Unaccustomed to such extravagances, all the waitresses on duty rush to the hotel door and start craning their necks toward the square. The tourists with trained voices are gone already, though. The exquisite acoustics of the upper square will thus go unnoticed for another long while. Motovun is not about silly things such as acoustics, anyway.
