Renato Sirotić delivered a whole trailer of firewood a bit less than a month ago. Next week I will have to call him again and place another order. The firewood is almost gone by now. Another trailer is needed as soon as possible, but certainly before my beloved’s next visit. While she is convalescing, she enjoys the fireplace much more than ever before. And she has always been enthralled by it. Whenever she is with me, the fire blazes from roughly noon till midnight. The amount of wood that used to last a whole winter now goes in a single month. Wrapped in a blanket, she lounges next to the fireplace like a cat. The fire therapy, as we have started calling it affectionately a few weeks back.
