Miro Kopčalić appeared in Motovun early this afternoon. Having finished his business, he gave me a call. After a short chat, we agreed to have lunch at Cotić’s, the only restaurant open in town out of season. When the bill came, I grabbed it. “Fuck you,” Miro growled half in jest.
