As I am strolling through the ground floor of one of the largest department stores in Zagreb, I notice a large sign ahead: “Croatian Souvenirs.”  I cannot skip this opportunity to learn about the country.  As it turns out, most of the souvenirs on display bear the Croatian flag and/or its coat of arms.  For some silly reason, I am quite surprised.
