A TRUE LADYBUG LOVER (November 9, 2008)

The semispherical tips of a dozen glass cigar tubes, some full and some empty, standing upright in two adjoining straight glasses are reflecting light from the lamp above the dining table. Attracted by the promising sight, a hefty ladybug out of season is tirelessly exploring the gleaming tips. Flying from one to another, it is crawling round and round for hours, forever disappointed in its fruitless search. Unable to help it in any way, I am thinking of moving the two glasses with cigar tubes to some dark corner out of the lamp’s range. Am I a true ladybug lover, or what?!
