The wedding will be two days from now, but the guests have started arriving two days ago. Wherever we go, we need ever-larger tables. Everyone is concerned about my beloved, but life must go on. Under the circumstances, we are as merry as we can be. Yes, “funny” is the right word for life, the quotation marks included. Actually, the quotation marks are quite essential in this connection.
