I am sitting at Klaudio’s with Ljubica Handjal and Renata Vrtarić. We are talking about all kinds of things. “Listen,” Ljubica brightens at some point, “I am going to Slovenia with my daughter!” She mentions some of the places they plan to visit. Renata jumps in: “And I am going to Portugal with my mother!” She, too, goes through the highlights of the itinerary they have in mind. “As for me,” I weigh in at the end, “I am going to stay in Motovun!” The excitement in my voice easily matches that of Ljubica and Renata’s.
