FLOWERING AGAIN (September 20, 2007)
Roses in my garden are flowering again. If I remember correctly, they flowered for the first time rather early this year. It must have been March or April. To the best of my recollection, this is the first time they have flowered twice in a season, but I cannot be sure about that. One way or another, I am getting tired of such fretful observations, though. The weather is weird, and that is all there is to say about it. Anyhow, pointing out exactly how weird it has become is beginning to get on my nerves. Let the roses in my garden flower as often as they see fit. And the same goes for all the other flowering plants. In fact, the more often they flower, the better. Right? Three cheers for climate change!
