“I used to love dancing,” sighs Ljubica Handjal out of the blue. A bunch of us sitting at Klaudio’s turn toward her. “We used to dance in the loggia,” she says quietly, her eyes turned toward her youth. And then she starts mentioning the names of all her partners. “They were great dancers, too,” she sighs again. But then she looks up: “They are all dead now!” Suddenly, Ljubica bursts out laughing, and we all join her. It takes us quite a while to stop giggling.
