A SMALL FORTUNE: A LETTER TO THE JACKDAW (July 8, 2007)

You seem to be ever-so-slightly facetious in your last editorial when you say that a copy of your paper will be worth a small fortune soon (“This Paper is a Limited Edition of Only 1,500!!!,” No. 70, July-August 2007). I am quite serious, though. I have every issue of The Jackdaw from the beginning, as well as all the yearbooks ever bound together, and I now offer the whole lot for a cool amount of ten-thousand pounds sterling. And this is today’s price only. It is likely to grow as years go by. And how. Any takers?
