SAATCHI’S TOMB (May 25, 2003)

In his editorial about the Saatchi Gallery in County Hall, which is now opening with nauseating fanfare, David Lee vows never to set foot in the mausoleum of the Nineties’ vapid art (The Jackdaw, No. 29, June 2003). I bet many others are now making the same vows. I am among them. Let the ranks of non-visitors swell! Let Saatchi’s tomb sprout cobwebs in ringing silence!
