NOVELS ARE FOR OTHERS (February 6, 2003)
If you were the last one left alive, would you write a novel? You would not, of course. Novels are for others. Instead, you would write a diary of sorts. Thus you would keep in touch with yourself, as well as leave a record for those who might discover your remains one day. So, why write a novel? After all, you are the last one alive. The zombies do not count.
