As witnessed by a spate of Al-Qaeda-inspired terrorist attacks around the world, the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq have not eradicated Osama bin Laden’s network. Surprise, surprise. Even the American politicians are beginning to admit that the war on terror is far from over. As though we were as stupid as to believe that the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq had anything to do with the war on terror. Surprise, surprise!
