FAKING (July 11, 2003)

Yesterday I glanced through an article in The Guardian about what women want from sex. If I remember correctly, it was an interview with a woman who had recently published a book on the subject. She deplored the unwillingness of most women to tell their men what they really liked and disliked in bed. Much of the book was autobiographic, too. Her husband was rather sore since he read the book, she confessed. Among standard white lies I still remember were vaginal orgasm and fellatio. She, too, kept faking vaginal orgasm for years and did not enjoy fellatio one single bit. It was a chore, like defrosting the icebox, she explained. Of course, I thought of my beloved at once. I know she is not faking her orgasms because I can feel her vaginal contractions, but I can only trust she enjoys my penis in her mouth. She goes for it often and without any urging on my part. When I wear shorts, she goes for a nibble in public places, too. The issue was settled a minute ago. Namely, I got her mobile-phone text-message with a single line: “I want your prick in my mouth now.” My woman!
