Tomorrow to Venice, and a couple of days later back to Reading. This visit to Motovun is nearing its end. I will be here again in March, but only for a fortnight. I will move here for good in July, a bit more than six months from now. The closer I come to that last trip, the more confused I get about the meaning of departure and return. To wit, am I departing for Reading or returning to it? Is Motovun my home or is it Reading? Do I have two homes or perhaps none?
