CREATURES OF HABIT (June 7, 2003)
A dove pecking at an empty flowerpot tray at my neighbors’ balcony, where it often comes for a quick drink. The tray usually brims with rainwater. I would be happy to put some water for the dove on my balcony, but I am leaving my place too soon. Forty-two days, to be precise. Birds are creatures of habit, just like us.
